New horror magazine debuts in 2008 - Noctem Aeternus

January 1, 2008 will be the start for a new quarterly PDF magazine.

Noctem Aeternus will feature high-quality horror fiction, reviews, interviews, etc.

The first issue will feature an original tale (and interview) from legendary writer Ramsey Campbell. We will list additional writers, artists, and contributors on our webpage as we sign them.

WHAT WE WANT:

We are looking for horror stories with a solid plot, strong character development, and attention to detail. Stories should also grab the reader?s attention quickly and hold it until the end. Although a good story can include gore, we don?t want gore for gore?s sake.

We are looking for great horror stories. Stories can be about monsters, the paranormal, serial killers, or anything else that evokes fear.

Science fiction, mystery, western, or fantasy elements are acceptable, however, there should be no doubt the story is horror.


WHAT WE DO NOT WANT:

We do not want to see anything involving child abuse, pedophilia, or the like.

Stories with vampires, werewolves, or other clichéd horror topics will be a hard sell. However, if you think you have a tale that brings something original to a clichéd topic, then send it along?just keep in mind, it will have a slim chance.

We do not want to see stories with spelling and grammar problems. If you think it is the editor?s job to clean up your mess, this publication is not for you.
